    My wife and I were staying over the night in Live Oak. Looking for dinner and passed by Big Wood BBQ and the place looked packed. We thought that it must be decent and decided to stop in. They were able to seat us rather quickly. Menu was full of great choices. My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and I got the pick 3 meat combo. The flavor was so good and Smokey. It all tasted so fresh. Service was amazing and they were very welcoming to a couple from out of town (Tampa).

    Highly recommend this place.

    Food very good. Minor complaints:

    All BBQ choices are mustard based.
    Pepsi products.
    Restaurant was chilly and staffed said that could not be changed.

    Otherwise: everybody is friendly and eatings are good. Prices are very fair.

    Mama & Aunt Tina waiting to eat BBQ.
    Owners and servers go above and beyond.  I was leary about ordering a pressed Cuban at a BBQ restaurant. Much to my surprise I was extremely happy with my choice.
    Last but not least, the absolute beautiful decor of wood is amazing.

    My wife and I stopped here on a road trip. Honestly, I would have been more content with a fast food option. Customer service was great, but the BBQ was below par. I can't forget to mention, their decorations were really cool and animal themed. Sorry, no pics of those !

    Super quick and super friendly service! Awesome barbecue, the fried okra is a must!! We had the bbq chicken we loved it, me and the wife shared a half chicken
